Email: kevin.leacock@shu.edu Kevin Leacock joined the Seton Hall University women[apos]s soccer staff as an Assistant Coach in Feb. 2013. He comes to Seton Hall after accruing eight seasons of collegiate coaching experience at NJIT, Rutgers and Stevens Institute of Technology. Leacock[apos]s collegiate coaching debut came at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he spent three seasons as the Highlander[apos]s Assistant Coach before being promoted to head coach prior to the 2008 season. After spending six years with the NJIT women[apos]s soccer program he joined the Rutgers University women[apos]s soccer staff in 2011, where he assisted the Scarlet Knights for one season, working primarily with the team[apos]s goalkeepers in addition to assisting with team training and administrative duties. Most recently, Leacock spent one season as an assistant coach with Stevens Institute of Technology where he assisted with practice and game planning and strategy, in addition to recruiting program administration. Outside of the collegiate ranks Leacock has coached at the national and youth levels. He was an Assistant Staff Coach for the U.S. Soccer Federation U17 Girls National Team in Chicago, Ill., from 2007-10, where he trained the program[apos]s goalkeepers. Leacock also coached with the World Class Premier Soccer Club (2004-06), the Jersey Knights Soccer Club (2009-10) and the Players Development Academy (2011-12). Leacock was a four-year letterwinner at Long Island University from 1995-98. He was named the team[apos]s Most Valuable Player in 1995, and helped the Blackbirds capture the NEC Championship in 1997, advancing to the NCAA Tournament. In 1993-94, Leacock was a goalkeeper for the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation, competing at the Pan American Games with the U23 team in Mar Del Plata, Argentina, in 1994, and the U21 squad at the Central American & Caribbean Games in Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 1993. Leacock holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
