Pirates Continue Non-Conference Home Stand

South Orange, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team continues early season non-conference play with home matches against Loyola (0-2-0) on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Stony Brook (1-1-0) on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches at Owen T. Carroll Field will be streamed live on the Pirate Sports Network.

The Pirates (0-1-1) are on the heels of a scoreless draw in their 2018 home opener against Delaware on Sunday, Aug. 19. Senior Anna MacLean (Thunder Bay, Ontario) registered five saves and collected her fifth-career clean sheet.

Seton Hall has allowed one goal or less in 12 of the last 19 matches dating back to Aug. 24, 2017 including each of the first two this season
A total of 25 different Pirates have seen action through the first pair of games this season including six freshmen
Sophomore Izzy Engel (Crescent, Pa.) leads the team with four shots, while four others have each recorded a pair of attempts

Scouting Loyola

Seton Hall matches up with the Greyhounds for the second time in series history and second time in as many years

Scouting Stony Brook

The Seawolves are coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013 after winning the America East Championship in 2017
Opening the season on the west coast, Stony Brook fell 2-1 at Oregon in its season opener before coming away with a 2-1 overtime victory at Oregon State
On Thursday night, the Seawolves are at Notre Dame
Sophomore Alyssa Francese has scored in each of the team's games so far this season, including the game-winning penalty kick at Oregon State
