
Pirates Continue Non-Conference Home Stand

South Orange, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team continues early season non-conference play with home matches against Loyola (0-2-0) on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and Stony Brook (1-1-0) on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches at Owen T. Carroll Field will be streamed live on the Pirate Sports Network.
The Pirates (0-1-1) are on the heels of a scoreless draw in their 2018 home opener against Delaware on Sunday, Aug. 19. Senior Anna MacLean (Thunder Bay, Ontario) registered five saves and collected her fifth-career clean sheet.

- Loyola is back on the east coast after opening the season with a 1-0 loss at California Baptist and a 2-0 setback at UC Riverside on Sunday, Aug. 19
Scouting Stony Brook
- The Seawolves are coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013 after winning the America East Championship in 2017
- Opening the season on the west coast, Stony Brook fell 2-1 at Oregon in its season opener before coming away with a 2-1 overtime victory at Oregon State
- On Thursday night, the Seawolves are at Notre Dame
- Sophomore Alyssa Francese has scored in each of the team's games so far this season, including the game-winning penalty kick at Oregon State
